Today saw the launch of a new Baby Skincare range from HiPP Organic and over the past 3 weeks, we’ve been lucky enough to test it out on Little G-Man.
Initially when we were asked, we were a little surprised that a food manufacturer was entering the skincare market, but on second thoughts, it kind of makes sense.
About HiPPs Skincare Range
HiPPs baby skincare range has been specifically developed to be free from anything sensitive skin doesn’t like and to minimise the risk of allergies. All of the new bath time items hold the “no tears” stamp too which is a joy for all parents and children alike.
Whats the secret to baby sleep? Nearly 9 months into being a Dad, sleep is quite possibly THE biggest thing I miss and remember almost taking up religion just to pray our little man took to it as soon as possible.
Right now we are at the stage where most nights we settle down around 7pm after his bathtime and night feed, but it doesn’t seem long when I used to do the dream feed around 11pm.
What Music Sends a Baby to Sleep?
Like most parents this was a question we asked in the first few weeks. We’d tried everything from sounds to replicate noises from the womb, to Jamie Cullum, with differing results, none of which were completely fool proof. Eventually we found one collection of music that has now been working for over 8 months – Baby Lullaby: Piano Lullabies with Nature Sounds of a Thunderstorm for Baby Sleep.
What is the Baby Dam Bathwater Barrier?
The Baby Dam Bathwater Barrier is basically a small piece of plastic that when inserted in your bath, acts as a mini dam reducing the volume of water needed to fill a bath for your baby or child.
Designed by parents who got fed up of seeing puddles from using a portable bath, noticed their water bills rising and the time it took to fill the bath up the idea behind the BabyDam can’t be faulted.
The BabyDam is designed to fit all standard baths, both straight and keyhole styles meaning everyone should be able to reduce their water bills. We’ve worked out each time Little G-Man jumps in the bath with the Baby Dam fitted, we’re saving 15 litres or more of water.
