I remember growing up and we’d all watch Neighbours on BBC1 straight after which was tea time. We all as a family moved from the lounge to the kitchen, usually as Dad arrived home, and sat down at a table. While we ate we talked. No TV in the Kitchen. No Facebook. No interruptions.
We used to talk about anything and everything. School. Scouts. Holidays. Who was walking the dog that evening. I can’t help but feel that these times for many families are lost forever.
Today saw the launch of a new Baby Skincare range from HiPP Organic and over the past 3 weeks, we’ve been lucky enough to test it out on Little G-Man.
Initially when we were asked, we were a little surprised that a food manufacturer was entering the skincare market, but on second thoughts, it kind of makes sense.
About HiPPs Skincare Range
HiPPs baby skincare range has been specifically developed to be free from anything sensitive skin doesn’t like and to minimise the risk of allergies. All of the new bath time items hold the “no tears” stamp too which is a joy for all parents and children alike.
At the back end of June, wetook our first proper baby friendly holiday. No travelling to some far off place with guaranteed sunshine, instead we headed to a cabin in Sherwood Pines Forest with Forest Holidays.
Who Are Forest Holidays?
In a nutshell Forest Holidays initially appear similar to Centre Parcs but without the crowds & indoor swimming pools. A little more of a relaxing, unwinding and escapism feel to it, offering a range of cabins for parties of all sizes, some of which are pet friendly too!
Summer finally arrived and with it came some fantastic weather albeit on and off… We found it a little too warm at times especially in the evening which provide fun trying to keep his room within the recommended temperature limits.
However, the sun didn’t stop G-man enjoying the great outdoors and he’s really on the move now… the commando crawl has turned into a crawl on all fours at 76mph!
You really can’t take your eyes off him as he’s off exploring what the world has to offer. And if he can get his hands on a baby walker then the world is his oyster – or should that be racetrack!
Recently we were asked if we’d be interested to review a few products for a brand which, to be quite honest, we hadn’t heard of before – OXO Tot (no relation to the beef flavoured gravy cubes!).
The OXO Tot Range
The first thing hit us upon opening the box of goodies, was the very identifiable colours. When selecting products to review, we opted for the lovely leaf green colour, but they are available in Aqua and Raspberry too. The Leaf Green is very gender neutral, so user friendly when choosing different products within the range especially for any parents who aren’t yet sure if they’re expecting a boy or a girl.
